Not for inside use

I purchased this for winter use in my garage. I have 6' to 8' from monitor to ball and 10' to 12' from ball to target and net. I installed a black tarp as a background.. and covered the concrete floor with carpet remnants. I installed two 6000 lumen ceiling lights for illumination.
The monitor would only record 150 yd max drives... I normally drive 200 yd average .
Very disappointing.. really wanted this to work.
Returned to store.

Awesome Device

Setup out of the box was super easy. Powered on and right away I was on the driving range. Garmin r10 is really accurate and can show the the bad shots as well as the good. Very pleased and great experience with the Garmin.

I’ve had my garage sim set up for two weeks. Love the R10 and can’t wait to take it to the club next week and see how it does on the range!

Just learning after 20 years

I like the features such swing speed, the left to right deviation, back and side spin. problem is in my garage distance seems to be 40 - 50 yards short. tells me I hit a 5 iron 90-100 yards. I'm not a long-distance hitter but at the driving range I get around 150 yards. I'm waiting for it to get warm enough outside to use it to compare numbers. My garage is cement floor and it does say that affects the radar. So, I'm working on covering floor with indoor outdoor carpet. Then I will be able to get a more accurate reading. For now, I'm more interested in just learning to hit the ball straight. It does that fine.

Great training aid and Family game night fun

This R10 has helped me shave 5 strokes already in just over a month of use. Practice every night and now understanding my yardage, has helped my approach game tremendously. Can't wait to see how low I can go this year with this training aid. Also fun to play some family night games with kiddos. Help them track their improvement while having fun.

Love this device.Took a little getting used to.The features are really cool.The one drawback was it drained the battery of my cell really fast.Maybe Garmin can update its app.Otherwise I love it.

Solid Performance Overall

I have really enjoyed using my Garmin. It works great outside and works well with irons in my garage. Only issue is with using 3W / Driver in my garage -- doesn't seem to pick up.

I purchased my R10 a month ago and love it for the information it gives you about your swing. Wish your software was better but including E6 connect was a great move.
