Longer Distances seem to be a bit off

Using the unit is very easy and for shorter distances it seem to be close to giving accurate distances. Maybe I am doing something wrong or maybe my unit is not properly calibrated but it appears to be less accurate as distances get longer. Please let me know if you have any suggestions / recommendations.

i bought this about a month ago and when i first got it everything was ok and the second time i used it everything was going exactly how far i hit the ball and the other times i’ve used it everything is coming up about 15-20 yards shorter than normal. if it worked how it did the second time i used it i would give it a 5/5 stars but i would like to see it a bit more accurate. if it was around 5 yards off like it advertised then it would be okay but 15-20 yards is a lot and can mess up your game on course a lot because you think your hitting it a lot shorter than you actually are.

For the money its hard to beat this launch monitor, might not get every single shot every time but overall its a great piece of technology. Its helped me through a winter season and just be able to hit some balls without going to the range and have all the details of your swing data right in front of you on the app.

Really good tool, best value for money launch monitor you can find. If you are hesitating don’t it is worth every penny. The only I would change/add is a little button with a laser so we can make sure it is aligned correctly. Other than that really good

So far, so good!

Bought a couple of weeks ago and been using it extensively in a makeshift sim in my garage, so still haven't used all the features and functions. Until the weather breaks and I can get out on a range and verify the numbers I'll assume it's accurate. Nevertheless, I find it easy to set up, connect and use. I use the Garmin app with it, and while the analytics are terrific and already helping to identify swing flaws, I wish it would allow for more than three to display while in range mode as I need to select the shot, hit the analytics tab and see the whole thing there, then go back. But, that's only a minor gripe and not really a big deal. Overall, very pleased to find an affordable unit that is already paying dividends for me.

I purchased the R10 about a month ago - and I have to say......It's worth the price of admission !!! Lots of analytics therefore if you are between a high-end weekend duffer and somewhat trending towards scratch - this is a great tool to add to your golf tool bag. I am a Pelz guy, meticulous with my short game and wedges and subscribe to the 3 positions (7:30, 9:00 and 10:00) with my wedges - I can now hone in to "see" the carry distances for my four wedges (P,G,S and L), let alone the driver characteristics.

I like it but….

I have it placed in my garage and have followed every tip I can find for proper setup, etc, but am still getting significantly short distances. I tried to reach out to Garmin support for help but got no response

Better than expected!

It works great! Only problem I am experiencing is with the driver, seems like either my waggle of the club or how I approach the ball, but it misses 50% of the time. Wedges and Irons however are great! Highly Recommend to anyone looking for a low budget simulator!
