Still working to get it right.

I’ve used the R10 several times but it seems to capture all the data but the direction is wrong. I recalibrated and it still says I’m right when I’m hitting the target line.

Looking Forward to Garmin Software Upgrades

I tested the R10 vs a Trackman at the local Golftec. Measured variables such as club speed and spin rates compared well with Trackman. Carry distance and other calculated variables did not compare well. Carry distance on the R10 was short compared to Trackman by 30-40 yds with driver and 10-15 yds with a 7 iron. My hope is that the Garmin software team will include a variable in the software that allows a manual adjustment for carry distance both on a shot by shot and club by club basis, but also on a global basis as a percentage increase. These adjustments to the software would greatly increase its utility as a performance tool, as well as, its enjoyment as a golf gaming app. I would be happy to test any future beta versions of the Garmin software when they are available.

Does not sink to phone

Have had trouble with garmin app dropping R10 from iPhone. The app will pick up the first shot but will not pick up second or third shot. The R10 works consistently with awesome golf but not Garmin App. Really disappointed

Works Great So Far

Have used the R10 exclusively indoors so I haven't really had a chance to compare its performance with an outside driving range session. It does appear to be more accurate using the Awesome Golf App vs the Garmin Golf app. I get more consistent results with fewer times that the app didn't record any data. But again, I haven't used it on the range to judge accuracy.

Accurate and Reliable

I've owned three launch monitors to date, and the Garmin R10 provides the most parameters for the money. It's reliable and easy to use and worth every penny. Battery life is long enough for three sessions at the range, and the device provides useful and accurate data. A+ rating.

Exactly what I was looking for

Nice concept but somewhat inconsistent

Bought this for my son to use and it seems to be very inconsistent when it comes to the accuracy of the yardage being recorded. Using it on measured Driving range it can be off as much as 20 yards or more. Have done all the tricks, re-calibrated, ensured distance from device to teeoff spot is accurate, checked for software/firmware updates etc. Just doesn't seem to be all that accurate.
