Approach R10 Home Driving Range

After using the Garmin Approach 10 for a little over a month, I could not be happier with this product. I had a driving range mat and net for the back yard but would only use it to hit 15-20 balls. Since adding the R10 both my son and I hit balls 3-4 times a week. It has increased my swing speed and I am now hit the ball better than ever. We are currently using only the driving range feature and it is unbelievably accurate! I love the swing capture feature. It has caused me to make several adjustments to my swing, all with positive results. My son has been using it to get ready for his High School season and I can’t believe how far he is hitting the ball. The data really helps you to understand your swing. We can’t wait to set up the garage for the winter and play Home Tee Hero. Great product Garmin and thank you for making this affordable for the average golfer.

Better than I expected

More than I hoped for! Was looking for a way to make my backyard into the net sessions more worth while from a learning standpoint. This does that and more! I absolutely love it! Very easy to use and it appears to be pretty accurate based on comparisons to actual driving range numbers. Easy to set up and use too. Like I said, I love and would recommend it it to any one looking for an entry level shot tracker and simulator.

Very handy tool when it works

It will read my shots about 75 percent of the time and I feel the data is pretty accurate. The good: great feedback nice poetable unit. Great bang for the buck. The bad: It just doesn't read every shot. Also, the unit needs to be 6-7' feet behind and level with your ball. It's hard to have that setup.

Amazing Technology

I replaced my PRGR with the Garmin R10 and added the Awesome Golf app. I’ve upgraded my backyard hitting area which allows me to take full advantage of the R10’s sensing capabilities. Consequently I don’t have to drive to the range anymore. Now for the work to improve my game.

Sometimes doesn t work properly

I bought this a year ago and ive been using constantly for my practices, but more than half of the time it doesn't read my swings or worse, being in "green" mode and matched... even so, it still doesn't measure my shots. It has more flaws than I expected.

Great for Practicing and Golf Simulation

I have it set up outdoor using a net. Having a great time practicing and playing rounds of golf with my friends and kids. Overall it seems very accurate. Chip Shots, Drives, fairway shots. I was able to easily find the golf courses that I frequent and pay in the golf simulatior.
