Great inexpensive and portable launch monitor

This launch monitor has all the measurements that you might want. It is very easy to set up and use. The data and visualizations are on your phone, and the phone app works well. I do wish I had a little more customizations of what data is presented on which screen, but overall it is very good. There is a video capability I haven't used yet.
The data seems reasonable, but I don't have any good way to compare it to something like a trackman. I have seen a review that says the spin measurements are better if you use the crazy expensive Titleist balls with the radar target built in.

The perfect at home launch monitor

For the price you wont find anything better! I use this indoors with my hitting net and a TV connected to an Ipad and its amazing. One thing to note about the RCT balls: I notice better spin and direction reads with those types of balls.

A solid product

I have enjoyed the r10 because it gives me info I wouldn’t have without it. One caution I have, that sometimes you get squirrelly numbers but for the price point it is a good investment for my golf learning.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and I’m loving it. I always wanted a launch monitor but it was out of budget for me. Thanks to Garmin for the R10. Anyone can afford to have one. I use mine outside with a net. I place it 8 feet between ball and impact screen and 6 feet between ball and device. It works perfectly each time. Make sure to recalibrate each time you use it. I can now play any golf course in the world anytime I want to at home. No more expensive bucket of balls.

Working Well

Working well so far. Learning how to use the info on the software. Seems to always show distances that are shorter than in real life. Trying to figure that out. But good product.

Fun but needs more features

Enjoy it. Little cumbersome getting set up. If there was a feature that allowed you to see what the Garmin radar is seeing it would help you eliminate unwanted feedback.

Consistency issues

After much reviewing and comparing, I bought this launch monitor to use during the upcoming Winter/Tourist season in South Florida. When the tourists invade our local courses it becomes harder to play during the week and impossible on weekends. My thought was this is a good time to start practicing at home. While the launch monitor is impressive at its price point with its features it’s extremely inconsistent outside hitting into my Spornia net. It only picks up one out of every three drives on average and sometimes even less than that. I’ve tried everything including adjusting the height/distance of the R10, changing backgrounds, using different balls and even putting metal stickers on them with no luck with consistency. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to continue to play with this over the next few months due to the unreliability in recording my shots. I was also planning on having friends over and playing different courses throughout the world through the E6 app but that also has been an issue. I’ve only used it twice but it was consistently inconsistent in registering my shots both times.
