Love it, so easy to

Love it, so easy to use and takes up hardly any space. Nice thick material, makes ironing a lot easier. Not mounted in the cupboard yet, job for husband at weekend

Lovely thing but doesn’t really work for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a sturdy, light, well designed piece of kit that operates simply and is ready for use in seconds.
When closed and used for iron storage my iron rattles around a bit. Others ,with a more substantial iron, may not find this. I don’t think the iron will fall out but I haven’t tested that.
The ironing surface is obviously smaller than a full size board which I thought I wouldn’t mind because I rarely use the full surface. But I do like to rest my iron on the board and if you are ironing anything bigger than a hankie you will have to put the iron on another surface. I’m finding this fiddly and annoying. I like to have a point on the end of my board. I hadn’t realised how much I use it. This board has no point, though both end are rounded.
I started by putting a cloth beneath the board to protect my surface. The feet have protectors but they are hard. That didn’t work because the board slipped around on it. So i have found some nonslip fabric which is better but there is still movement.
I bought this with the intention of getting rid of my big floor standing ironing board. I won’t be doing that.but I will use this one for small items.
