Smaller than expected, but cute as heck!

Stain come off easily so make sure you put it together in a protected area and while wearing older clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Would suggest sealing it before placing outside in sunlight and other elements. Overall visually smaller than expected ... even after reading the dims, but it's so darn cute, you get past it. Prior to putting in dirt, it seems a little wobbly - could use 2 more stabilizing struts on opposite sides of well cover / base attachments.

Attractive addition to the landscape!

I have to admit I was a little concerned about assembling this one, so let it sit a couple weeks in the box. The directions say 1 person up to 45 minutes and only need a screwdriver to put it together. I wanted to get it in the garden and planted so tackled it today, and it was fairly simple to assemble. It is smaller than I expected, and I think several reviewers have mentioned that as well, but it is very attractive filled with flowers near my garden. I live in the country with high winds, so did pour a 50# bag of rock into the bottom before adding the dirt and flowers.

Hardware missing!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price expected better. #1 Instructions are confusing, #2 your hands will be darkened by whatever they used to seal this wood, which is also of poor quality. #3 It goes together - kinda. Not the tightest fits on the joints. Is the well bucket supposed to move or no? Not a novice in building, yet found this all difficult. Final thing, since this is a planter, why not include a bottom so it can be moved?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Am totally disappointed in the wishing well. Item was packaged very well, but instructions are poor, and when assembling the last piece in each “ring”, two of the rings had pieces of wood to break off!!
