EA doesn't tell you about online requirement

I was playing OFFLINE Dynasty mode with multiple teams, and could not access the teams. Later learned that an online requirement was needed for that when the PlayStation network went down on Feb. 7, 2025. How can EA call a mode offline when there is an online requirement to play it?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
