Filtrate allergen defense air filter

Bought this last week and am very satisfied with it, only complaint i have is that they were available in more sizes because we have to take 2 and duct tape them together and get them to fit

Best air filter for my application

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a highly energy efficient house with an Mini-Split HVAC system. I use the filter for my air intake /make-up air opening in the ceiling. The Filtrete filter is the only one I have found that accurately fits the duct opening. Other makes I have tried are slightly smaller than the stated 12 x 12 size which means they allow unfiltered air to enter the house through the gaps around the filter. An additional annoyance is that the filter falls out of the opening when I open the hinged cover.
I would recommend this to a friend!

better than the wash out filters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we have been using these filters for years now. we used to used the electrostatic filters that you wash out but i never felt like they worked as well as these do usually wait til a sale or rebate and the are very reasonable

Reduces Dust/Pollen/Powder Down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the review title mentions it reduces all types of accumulation. The "Powder Down" is a term for Exotic Birds "Powder" that is a water repellant and conditions the skin. For a home that has Exotic Birds pets, i.e. Cockatoo's, African Grays,
etc., this filter is a must!
