Need to get different filter

Just discovered this filter is NOT capable of removing dust. Need to find one that can.

You know it makes a difference when they say it should last 3 months, but it's completely full/grey/clogged after a month!

Excellent Filtration

Our family has been using this particular filter for a several years now and it helps a lot to reduce the dust in the air. Well worth the money to have cleaner air circulating throughout the house when the AC is running.

Easier Breathing

I have used these filters all year now, and compared to the previous years when I used a generic brand, I have not had bronchitis, which I get every year! I am so happy that I can breathe better now, and I truly believe these filters minimize my coughing episodes.

My landlord usually bought the regular filters, which are fine, but given the problems in the house, I bought and used these instead. They really do make a huge difference.

Best filter I have found

I have used this filter in two different returns in our house for many years. I don't understand why you would buy a filter that does not look like it would stop dust from passing through. We have 3 dogs, so our filters get a workout.

Does the job!

I noticed a while ago that there is a huge difference between the less expensive furnace filters and Filtrete brand. The Filtrete filter picks up the dust/dirt/particles that turn the filter black which indicates (before it is actually black) that it needs to be changed. I check the filter, which has a place to put the date inserted, after 3 months, and, often it can remain a few more weeks. I feel confident that Filtrete filter works, even though it can be a bit costly. Good to buy in bulk and/or on sale.
