I can change out this filter every 90 days but I change it out every 30 days because of what I see it captures and keeps me from breathing.

Ladder climber!

I replaced the Filtrete 1085 Air Cleaning Filter just recently (after about our typical 3 months of use). Although I normally don't write reviews to products I purchase and use regularly, clearly I'm making an exception this time. This past month and a half, we experienced a rare late season resurgence of pollen and other allergens which made our overall disposition somewhat less than amiable. The new replacement filter seems to be the reason for greatly improving our general disposition. Now, if 3M/ Filtrete can make replacements last 1 month longer, then I'll only have to use the ladder 3 times a year.

Provides good filtration for my home

This pleated filter provides good filtration for my furnace and A/C system without imposing too much pressure drop on the system.

Love these filters

Have used Filtrete products for many years now. Most of the year I use the 1085. During the worst of pollen season I sometimes have to switch to the 1500. These filters have made a huge difference to our household.

I purchased the filtrate allergen defense, I can tell the difference in the quality of the air that flows, it's much fresher and minimum dust particles in the air
