Longevity disappointments

Although I like & have to have this filter for my house HVAC system, I find that I am changing the filter every month NOT the 3 mos it is supposed to last. I did let one set go approx 45 days, but found the old filters collapsed into the vent due to the lack of air able to pass through. They do clean the air that passes thru, but definitely NOT for 3 months! I would seriously consider another filter if available, at least to have comparison...more to follow if I do find one/some.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty heavy duty. I am amazed at how well the filter is able to trap dust. Comparing to past filters it looks far more saturated in three months than other filters I have purchases. Worth the extra money I spent.

Filtrete is the best

Controls Dust and Cat Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased item 3 months ago. Held down overall dust and cat hair throughout my home especially in my bedroom where it is somewhat extreme. Very happy with the performance of this product. Have various size filters through out my house and so far the Filtrete Dual-Action is the best at a fair price.

So much better than "regular" cheap filters that are thin and flimsy and allow particles to slide on through and around them.
I have tried using the "regular" filter because I had one on hand, it was so useless that I went ahead and changed to my Filtrete Allergen Defense 1200 filter before it was time for a change.
From now on for a clean home and for clean and healthy breathing, it will always, always be the Allergen 1200 filter.
So much better than "regular" cheap filters that are thin and flimsy and allow particles to slide on through and around them.
