Got out stubborn cat urin smell. Neither a rental carpet cleaner and home unit that claims to out perform rentals could get out the smell. Also tried Urin Gone! As seen on TV. That did not work. The Blueair worked.
My friends said if this can get out the smell of your 3 cats in your tiny apartment (700 sq ft), im going to tell everyone Blueair is the best. What can i say? This air purifier is awesome.
Blueair is quiet.
I have a different brand $150 tower for my bedroom where i wont let my cats go. It has a bluelight to kill 99.9% of viruses, etc. This machine is great but not as good. Its quiet but it says its filter never needs to be replaced and i dont advise that. The filter gets filthy even when the room is ocd clean without dust and everything in plastic.

I Sleep Better.

Years ago I exhausted all available medication avenues--I take a mucous pill and two inhalers. My Doctor said the last avenue to reduce allergic assaults on my immune system was mite-proof bed clothes which I now have, and an air filter. After much research I found Blueair. My fiance has a Great Dane and her daughter occasionally brings her cat home, so the Blueair filter helps me sleep better.

Now four years into having a Blueair 603. This is the best air purifier of them all we know! There is a big difference in the quality of the air we breath in our house! It allowed us to keep our old cat to which our daughter reacted before we got the purifier. Plus, very very quiet! I am just amazed at how very little noise this purifier makes. It really is only a whisper. We leave it running all the time at low or medium speed and are not at all bothered by the whisper. Love it so much, I am looking to buy one for my sister who lives in an apartment surrounded by heavy smokers. She`s bought other good brand purifiers without good results. I just don`t know yet which Blueair would be best for her, considering the heavy heavy cigarette smokes entering her apartment AT ALL TIMES! Perhaps it`s best if she tries ours and we see? Definitely ready to give her a beautiful gift for health if it makes her apartment air clean!

I have this unit in my apartment and it is working wonderfully. I have noticed an amazing difference in the air quality and amount of dust in the air. We have a cat and this has definitely reduced the amount of hair floating around and my cat allergy prone family members have commented on how they aren't bothered by our cat when they come over.

Helps clea air

We've had our Blue Air 603 for several years and use the charcoal filters. We are not smokers, but use primarily for a general air cleaner and for cooking odors cleaner. We live in a condo and the large windows don't open. We've been pleased with the result. The filter reminder and delivery service is excellent. From time to time we get a light flutter noise in the fan, but it then goes away after a bit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I live in North Carolina, the third worst state for allergy sufferers ... I have two of these purifiers in my home and it has made a world of a difference. They control the dust settlement and provide a sheltered environment of 'good air'.

QUALITY OF BUILD, SIMPLE TO USE AND SERVICE

I have had my Blueair, for 5-6 years and I expect to have it the rest of my life. The build quality is pure, using the best materials in a design that makes it easy to keep up with filter replacements. YOU DON'T EVEN NEED A SCREWDRIVER, to replace filters lift off the top and pull the tabs on the filters and remove them. I have the box the new ones came in so I use that for the old ones. It is important to use the brush from the vacuum cleaner to pick off dust particles from vents. Install the new filters put the top back on. I tape up the box with the old filters. And I am done for another 6 months. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, I LOOKED AT ABOUT EVERY PRODUCT UNDER $1000.00, but I went for Blueair for the simplicity and then it was a 10 year Warranty, provided you replaced filters per instructions. NOW it is told Lifetime, I use the 6 month automatic service and the people at Blueair are great, from questions, I had before the sale, to things like changing my shipment date on filters.
