Flip top boxes are great for so many uses.

This type of storage box is exceptional, because the top can't get lost in the shuffle. Wonderful for kids stuff. Small craft items or toys are easily contained in one place for future use. I use one for my recipes too. I made some sections out of card stock and my new and old recipes are right where I need them.

Best for cd/dvd storage

these are great for office storage of dvd's and cd's. I also use these to store my back ups of my photos. They last, I can see what is in them and they stack!

I have two of these in my classroom! One holds magnets that are not in use for my whiteboard. The other holds all my calendar cover-ups. It holds enough pieces for the entire year!

I bought this size and shape for use as a chess piece box. My expensive wooden 4" chess set nestles perfectly. Protects my chess set like an expensive chess box.

Not as good as 1770

This seemed like another of Sterilite's super products but it failed quickly. I put a few things in it, when retrieving later, I grabbed it and the top was not snapped on but it slid sideways. I tried several times to be sure I had secured it properly but it slid each time. It does NOT snap closed as the 1770 case that I thought I had bought as that is a quality item as are most of Sterilte products. I would pass on this one, it's just not quite right. When I have items in a container, I expect the top to be secure but this one doesn't do that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
