“Glass” is not real glass.

“Glass” is not real glass. The system wastes a ton of water - like a quart of waste for every two quarts of RO water. And the pitcher is not a closed unit so storage in the fridge is like putting a glass of water in the fridge. I really regret this purchase.
The filter works well, but the water storage container is too small. It should come with two containers so it’s more convenient—one could stay in the refrigerator while the other remains on the filter. This would make it much easier to always have cold, filtered water available.
We have had great experiences with AquaTru in our home and the homes of family members, but the unit we bought for our son does not have a secure fit between the unfiltered water tank and the base. The tank is skewed to one side, preventing the lid from closing over the tank. With several tries, it can eventually be moved into place to allow the lid to close. This inconvenience has put a damper on our enthusiasm for a great product.
Not happy about wasting 4 cups of water each cycle. Is the tap water tank too big for the clean water pitcher? Always have 4 cups of water remaining in the supply tank.
Tds rating in mid 20s without remineralization. Water capacity should be a bit larger with a smaller water wastage. Lastly, would be better if there is a dedicated on/off power button. Overall, the above things can be adjusted to. A bit on pricier side for however, I'm ok with it. Water taste and feel are very neutral as expected. Definitely a noticeable clean crisp tasting water vs what we get here from lake Michigan tap water.
