Great solution for my husband

Great solution for my husband and myself. We are on well water and were buying tons of on gallon water bottles in plastic and we go through so much every week that this is a great temporary solution for us until we can get our kitchen built and put a system under our sink. The water taste great from this RO countertop carafe.

My experience with the Carafe

My experience with the Carafe model has been excellent so far. It does exactly what it says it does. I don't have scienmagific equipment that can tell you how well the remineralization filter works but the water tastes pretty good to me. I have seen people say it doesn't have a long life span, breaking after a year or two, but I would really like to know if they've been following the maintenance instructions. The Carafe comes with very clear maintenance instructions and I could see the machine malfunctioning if someone is too lazy to do them. You could definitely do a lot worse than this for a water purifier.

I would like to fill

I would like to fill the tank sitting on the stand because it's heavy, but it won't start if I do. I have to fill it, then lift it. Also I leave it on the stand, take the pitcher off and replace it it begins to process the 1/3 water remaining, so I guess it has to be emptied right away.
The water is delicious though.

Overall I really like this. Design is nice on the counter and water tastes good. The only 2 things I would point out are: the filtering process is quite loud and the tank is small therefor you’re refilling it often.
