Our water is yellow and all too often under boil orders. When it is supposedly safe the color varies and is worrisome. with this filter our water is clear and there is no chemical taste. The filter has lasted 5 months unlike others such as Brita which still looked yellow and needed replacing every couple weeks

The filtration system and resulting water quality seem excellent, and there's a distinctly better taste to the water.
There are some major design flaws to the system, however: 1) Having to remove the back tank and put it back every time you fill it is bad user experience. I fill this 3–4 times a day in my household, and the fact that I can't just fill it and walk away is annoying as hell. I have to pull the tank off it's seat (which is not easy), raise it up for a couple seconds, and seat it back in.
2) I understand that you're supposed to dump out the remaining water before refilling filling, but that's a design flaw. Bad user experience again.
3) The lack of a button to start/restart the filtration is just plain stupid. Having to physically take a part off of hardware to "start" it is a terrible user experience.
4) The lid covering the back tank sems like a very loose fit for a container we don't want contaminants in. It should feel like a more snug and enclosed fit (while understanding that air still needs to flow in this way).
So, great water. Still need to work on your product and user experience design.
