Very happy with this purchase. Took me a while to get here as I kept reading research and other reviews but finally decided on AquaTru. I had a Berkey for years and the taste of the water is much better from the AquaTru. We all notice the difference.
Very happy with taste of water and quality. Also it’s very easy to put together, make more water which takes a few minutes and clean the unit. Quiet also, you just hear the water dripping as its purified, but that’s expected.

Downtown LA tap water went from 287 ppm to 20 ppm!

I live in Downtown LA, where the tap water is extremely hard and full of crap (mine tested at 287 ppm). After running it through the AquaTru, my drinking water tests at 20 ppm. Even better, it actually tastes the way water should taste... like nothing!
I waited until it went on sale, but I’ve already recommended it to a few friends. Refilling the tank so often takes some getting used to, but after about a week it stopped bothering me. If it’s still bugging you after that, just grab a backup carafe to keep in the fridge so you have a backup. As a single guy with a dog, the one carafe works fine for my needs.
One heads up: if you have hard water like I did, the taste may take a little adjusting to since you’re used to all the minerals. If that’s the case, I’d suggest getting the mineral boost alkaline filter. I’m planning to switch to it when it’s time to change out my current filter.
Otherwise, I’m so happy with this system and would highly recommend it!

The amount of water waste
