Invest in AquaTru - worth it

I love the AquaTru, the convenience of simply refilling with tap water as needed makes it easy to manage. Drawback? The bottom of the tap water tank turned opalescent pretty quickly yet illustrates what’s filtered away as my clean tank is like new after 3 years of daily use and I drink a lot of water.

Great, Clean Water in a Poor Design.

Aqua Tru is a great way to get clean, great tasting water even without using any extra minerals or flavor additives. All in all Aqua Tru does exactly what it needs to do. BUT The design of the two water containers makes it awkward to use. The container that you fill to be filtered has a handle on the inside of the lid so in order to transport water from your faucet to Aqua Tru you could completely spill or make a mess quite easily. When removing the containers from the base there will also be some extra water dripping from the bottom. Unfortunately Aqua Tru does NOT offer the purchase of extra unfiltered water containers to easily swap out and cut down on filter time.

I bought my system in December 2019 so I have not had it long enough to know for sure but so far it is great tasting water and easy to operate. I do feel the warranty should be longer but overall I am satisfied.

Great Water Filtration System

I love the speed and ease of being able to have reverse osmosis filtered water right at home. My life is so much better with the Aqua Tru filtration system!

We purchased the product in December 2019. I am amazed at how good the water tastes. I am drinking more water than before because it tastes delicious. I was using a carbon filter only before for drinking water.

Overall the system is wonderful. My only complaint is it does not hold enough water and needs to be refilled frequently. I would like it to have a bigger footprint and have a larger container for filtered water.

The water is so pure, I love the ease of using it. However I wish the pitcher was larger or, for the price, there were 2 pitchers included. I go through at least 2 pitchers a day. Sometimes more.

Some design flaws

We've been using our aqua-tru for at least 3 years. Here are a few comments: The handle of the filtered water tank, after about a year, always fills with green mold, even when we diligently care it weekly. I end up replacing the tank every year because you can't clean inside the handle. Once you remove and clean the filtered water tank and supply tank, once you return them to their position, it doesn't begin to filter. It doesn't the order in which they're returned. The supply isn't filled too high. I have to wait up to an entire day (and other times, a few minutes). Frustrating.
