Got the filter Carafe in November of 2024, now it is October 2026, and just discovered my unit is leaking from the bottom seams of the unit, not the tank of the carafe, the actual unit. Could've been happening sooner since i would see a little water but thought it was me spilling, since its near my kitchen sink. But no, it is the unit. And definitely past the 1 year warranty. Contacted support today, nothing i can so on my end, just replacing it they said. Definitely can't afford over 300 right now for something that should've lasted much longer. Now I have filters for it, descaling kit and everything that I may not be able to use much longer. Yes i did clean it, yes i did turn it off when out for long periods of time and did the filtering when turning back on. Highly disappointed for something so pricey.
Overall like it. Easy to use and water tastes great after filtration. Refilling unit requires moving unit which is difficult but have ordered the accessory base to make that easier. Does not have a power off button so purchased a toggle power plug to resolve that.
I lve in an area that has lead in our water. Moved from a home with a reserved osmosis on my main water line. Moved to an apartment and could not install a whole system reversed osmosis...I bought AquaTru and have enjoyed it every day.
Okay this is the third time you asked me for a review here you go... I received two identical unfiltered water tanks in the back. They both have scratches in the same spot. In and outside of the tank. This comes about from poor quality control on your part. Because they have scratches in the same spot in and out, that means The jig in the manufacturing process is scratching the tanks inside and outs leaving microplastics in the unfiltered water tank. However, this doesn't pose any significant risks of microplastics from the scratches inside and out of the holding tank because it's before the fourth stage filter. Other than that the product is good. Will I buy it again that answer is no. I will move to the reverse osmosis system under the counter. I can't be the only one that's seen this defect in manufacturing. The scratches inside the tank can create poor hygiene due to bacteria and allergy building up inside those scratches. So for that reason I give it three stars. Equality control and inspections are poor. Other than that the item is great. Should I send it back yeah I should.
Alot of work to make 64 ounces and why does waste water go right back into tank that your trying to filter? Go with tankless RO under sink systems like Waterdrop RO
