I was influenced from social media by the nontoxic community and I was so excited to buy this. But this thing here just is not IT.
1. It’s a lot of maintenance.
2. The water didn’t taste as clean as I thought it would. May just be me. I’m use to drinking the glass water bottles.
3. It waste quite a bit of water that does not filter.
4. Where the water is filtering into in the machine, HOLDS WATER, it doesn’t drain. So you have to get some type of cloth and get out as much as you can or put the big ol thing upside down to remove it.
5. This is the most recent thing I just noticed. Where the water filters out of the part that holds the water-dirty water (after filtering) there are two small black rubber pieces along with some metal springs you can’t really get to. This is looking like it’s starting to RUST. I cleaned it with a napkin this morning to rub as much as I could cause the water has just been tasting a bit off. And boom, the napkin shows as if it is some kind of dirt/ rust.

Do not buy this. Trust me there is most likely better out there. Especially for the price we paid on this. It’s insane. I’ve only had this thing since JUNE of this year.

I have been using Aqua

I have been using Aqua True for over a month. I did the 4 wastes of the water and noticed a plastic or chemical taste to the water. I did more wastes and still tasting the chemical. I'm looking for a place to test the water before I continue to use it. My verdict is out until I get the water results back.

Easy to put together when

Easy to put together when instructions are followed. So far, easy to run with excellent taste, with or without minerals. Promotion with extra carafe has proven a godsend, as our household of 2 goes through 2 carafes a day (sometimes 3). Carafe fills in about 11 1/2 to 12 1/2 minutes. People should consider pure cooking and drinking water the most important health preventative measure they can incorporate into their daily lives (we are, after all, 90% water). Since our usage of AquaTru is only 1 month, we can only hope that our carafe model gives us many years service.

After 3 phone calls, and

After 3 phone calls, and over 15 emails and 1 or 2 videos, it still isn't working correctly! If I don't respond IMMEDIATELY, they "close out the ticket. " I'm done! This should have been replaced as it has NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY, not even on the first day!!! I WILL NOT be recommending your company! In fact, I have already told 2 other full-time RVers NOT to use your company! It's too bad, I really wanted this to work, and know a lot of full- and part-time RVers that ask me for recommendations as I work at different campgrounds every year!

The water tank and its cover are poorly designed. I have to reposition the tank every time to ensure the cover fits properly over it.
