We assume you need an absolutely flat floor for this bin. In our old house the bin wobbled, the bottom bin wouldn’t stay underneath and the lid of the top bin popped open on its own.

This replaced a previous purchase which hadn’t lasted long enough. However it fits perfectly in a corner so I had to buy the same again. I hope it lasts longer than the previous one

Great looking bin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have replaced our kitchen and the double side by side bin just didn’t have a home any longer. My ideal would have been a bin hidden in a cupboard but we didn’t have a suitable cupboard so looked for a bin with the same capacity as the old one but with a smaller footprint.
When it arrived my husband said it was too small- I had to find both bins online to show him the capacity is the same.
We have had the Totem for almost a month and it is great, no bending down for the top bin and the good caddy is an excellent idea and means food waste can be take. To the outside bin separately and more frequently.
I love the stainless steel finish and have also bought the dish rack, sink caddy and soap dispenser to match.

Feels solid, looks smart. Good that there’s two equal containers for the waste and recycling.
Only down side is you have to press the button with your hand opposed to foot to open the lid, so it gets a bit mucky.
