A very solid range hood with clean and modern design. Very sturdy and on the heavy side. Looks robust and fans work very well. Hope it lasts.

This hood is good. I’d recommended getting it for above your range/stove . We put a modern twist with it and built some custom mounting steel brackets. And then vented out the back.

Great kitchen exhaust fan, second one I bought. Mounting it is a little tricky when the stove is in. Very heavy duty

Everything is excellent except the lights

The efficiency, the sound, the whole package is excellent. I thought the lights were LED, but they are not. The lights (halogen) in this unit are very bright, run hot, are very expensive to replace, and are not as energy efficient as LED lights. Otherwise, the unit is excellent. We do not turn the lights on unless absolutely necessary. Just another learning curve for the consumer.

Replaced Old Vent Hood with Hauslane UC-PS18

Just had the Hauslane vent hood installed about 1 week ago. So far, so good. The hood is vast improvement over my old hood, it has more power and is easier to clean. The Hauslane came with lights and a grease filter and also a special cloth for cleaning. The only negative is the Hauslane vent hood does stick out a little more than our old one. Happy with my choice!
