I love the hood. It’s easy to install and easy to operate. The lights are powerful too. The exhaust is pretty strong, doesn’t leave any smoke and smell after cooking.

The UC-PS18 is designed well. It is sturdy and stylish with a great suction capability and reduced noise levels. Hauslane should consider using dimmable lights to cater for different lighting needs alike. Ours is a smaller kitchen and lights are much brighter than needed.

Love our fume hood!

We LOVE this fume hood. Extremely functional and easy to clean. Not too hard to install ourselves, and matches our other stainless appliances perfectly. The suction is phenomenal. It’s so satisfying to see any and all vapors head out through the grates. Night and day difference compared to our over the range microwave that we replaced! Would recommend to anyone in the market for a fume hood!

It’s well designed and it does the job. The lighting seems a bit dim. In comparison to other high end range hoods that I’ve owned.

The verdict is still out since it was just installed two days ago. It was a long wait for it given that my order was dated April 2022. Here is hoping that it will perform as expected. It looks good over my stove.
