Happy customer for 6+ years

I was looking for a higher CFM rangehood to get rid of all cooking smell and particles. I am using it for last 6 years and its keep going. I bought another one last year for my other kitchen and works great there too. Best part is I like customer care support. I got immediate responses two times - for changing LED light and replacing gaskets.

Great Product

It goes well with my other SS appliances. It has a nice design. The variable speed can be adjusted to the size of the kitchen, and 500 CFM is more than sufficient for any kind of cooking. Great LED lighting spreads evenly over the entire cooking surface. It would have been perfect if it had two stages of lighting.

Great hood - really beautiful

Really like this range hood. Beautiful and feels solidly build. I will enjoy using this.
My only issue is how the electrical cord is so close to one of the mounting screws. If you cut the hole for the plug to go into your cabinet as recommended, you will come really close to the mounting screw, possibly compromising the strength of the wood supporting the hood.
They should move the cord more to the middle of the unit.

Just what we needed

Our over-the-range microwave was not doing a good enough job getting rid of smoke and smells from the kitchen. When we had the kitchen remodeled, we replaced the microwave with this range hood and it is perfect! It has an unassuming design and really does a great job diverting smoke outside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We purchased the UC-PS18 to replace an older, less efficient under cabinet vent hood. We wanted something that had good suction, but just as important, grates that were able to be removed and placed in the dishwasher for cleaning. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes to cook at home and doesn't want lingering odors left behind. This vent hood has exceeded our expectations. Very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful and super powerful, but..., it's just too noisy. I can manage the first speed, tried different things to hold the noise down. I don't' know what more I can do or try. I will have to use on first level speed, however, can always go higher and just use earplugs.

My builders exhaust vent hood was a joke.
I was not a happy and started my own research. So I found a YouTube video and Hauslane was the number 1 recommendation. Then my builder finally agreed to order me one.
Today after waiting for a handyman to show up and install the NEW UC-PS18 (30) model.
I am very happy with it.

I purchased the UC-PS18 30 inch and I'm very happy I did. I love the modern, sleek design to the range hood. Previously I had a microwave range hood combo above the stove and now using this range hood I have a lot more space above my stove. I appreciate the fan speeds as we cook a lot of different types of foods. I was able to install this myself and have received many compliments since the install. Overall, great product!
