Perfect mix of form and function

We got this range hood for our kitchen renovation. We wanted something that was mid-range, worked well and wasn't finicky. This range hood has fit the bill! It has plenty of fan speeds, the lights really light our space and it looks really nice with our upgraded stove and cabinets. Best of all, it actually functions well. It's sad to say, but a lot of "nice-looking" products don't actually perform well. This has been a great fit! My contractor installed it, and had no issues. Seemed like a simple install!
I would recommend this to a friend!

UC-PS18 for the win

I recently bought a UC-PS18 and love it. I replaced a very loud and poor performing fan, and I couldn't be happier. I installed the unit with the help of my wife. While heavy, it can be done without hiring a professional. The unit is quiet despite many different suction levels. I definitely recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean and powerful.

Great power. Is it loud? It better be if it's gonna do the job. I love the timer with auto shut off after so I can leave it on to clean up any lingering steam/smoke from the pots and pans.
Very bright lights and clean design.

Took a chance on this product because we had never heard of this manufacturer, So far it was the right choice. Lots of suction power with a sleek modern design. We had our contractor install it and he didn't appear to have any difficulty.

Great fan, but cleaning fan blades is difficult.

I've had this for about 3 years now and it's still works very well – the LED light is bright and I don't have to turn on other lights when I'm cooking, the fans work smoothly, and it's easy to clean the outside. My only gripe about this product is cleaning the blades. Yes, the baffle filters come off and you can put them into the dishwasher just fine, but the fan blades themselves are mucked up in grease. There's no instructions on how to remove them and clean them. Oh, and the clock is a little off so every 6 months, you just need to adjust it.
Overall, I think this product's great, but I want to make sure it lasts a long time. I would appreciate instructions on how to take the fan blades out and clean them in soapy water.
