The range hood was very easy to install, very good quality and I very much appreciate how easy it is to clean with all the smooth surfaces and no knobs or buttons.
Also for the high cfm it is quieter than my other one that was only a third of the cfm.
Very happy with this purchase!

Fantastic Hood

We finally got everything together to get this hood installed. It works phenomenally. Before if we'd fry up some onions (with our microwave recirculator) the entire main floor would smell like onions for days.
Now, even the person cooking doesn't have any of the smell seep into their clothes or hair whatsoever.
The lighting is great, install was pretty straightforward, and we love that the baffle filters are dishwasher safe.
No complaints at all!

This hood is very loud with rear vent in place. Might be different if you top vent. It is the noise of the air moving verse the fan itself.
Oher tan that it looks great.
Oh, and no directions or screws for mounting it in the box, just 3 different vent flaps .

Love this hood!!

Have now had thisrange hood for about 6months and it's fabulous! I was worried about levelof noise and yes you're definitely going to hear it when you have it on the high levels but it works so well to eliminate smoke and odors, and as someone who enjoys cooking that's what you need. On lower levels noise is minimal. Also love the fact you can put the easily removable vents in the dishwasher. Lights are perfect and you can use them without the fan. My only teeny complaint would be the touch pad shows all the fingerprints and any oils..also have to be very mindful when wiping touchpad clean as it scratches easily. But other than that an excellent product!!!

Looks Sharp, Because It Is!

High quality product with nice features such as a clock, timer, LED lights and multi-level fan. The unit was very heavy and, as you said, two people were needed for installation. It was extremely difficult to get in all the screws because it was over a cooktop, not a stove that could be pulled out. Also, regarding its sharp corners—they will get you if you're not really careful. This over-the-stove vent juts out further than my previous fan so, to me, it is a kitchen hazard. Suppose I will get used to it, but for now I put some double-sided picture-mounting sticky patches on the corners to hopefully cushion the inevitable blows to my head.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

kitchen hoods are installed under the upper cabinets, right above the cooking range. They are more compact compared with wall-mount and island-mount hoods, therefore more suitable for kitchens with limited space.
Also, they often have a ductless design so their installation is straightforward and normally doesn’t call for professional help.
I would recommend this to a friend!
