Hauslane range hood

The unit is well made and works like a charm. It would be nice if it had adjustable lights. Installation of the unit is hard without a least 3 people, very heavy with limited visibility of the mounting screws.

Overall, we are very pleased with the performance of this unit. The only complaint to date is that the inline baffle doesn't seem to keep cold air from coming into the kitchen

Attractive & Functional

The hood vent works perfectly in our kitchen. It's attractive, and the light brightens the whole area. A couple things we figured out while installing were that the pointed screws were slightly longer than what we measured according to the manual and it's more noisy than we anticipated. Also, I wish the timer would just beep when the time is up instead of turning off the whole system, but I can see why you'd want that function. All in all we're very happy with our choice.

Excellent unit - should have installed one sooner

Very powerful, beautiful professional appearance. Had to make several modifications from fitment of the original contractor-grade asthmatic unit which took quite some time but now it fits perfect. And it's true, on the highest setting it will lift a paper towel. No more cooking smells in the house and soon the butterflies will return :)

30" PS18 Under cabinet range hood

I decided I could install this unit myself. I thought directions were quite clear. As usual - measure twice and install once. I had to cut openings for the external exhaust duct. My only issue with this hood is the location of the two rear attachment points. The clearance around them is tight and hard to see when installing the lag screws. I purchased lag screws so I had a hex head to use with a socket. Easier than trying to use a screw driver. Fortunately I had all necessary tools to perform this installation. I also would prefer that the lights could be dimmed as I had seen in other reviews. I do not find the noise of the fans even on high to be unacceptable. Overall product seems to be well made. Now to use it and see how it does with exhausting fumes.
