Poor Seat Design

The design of this seat is poor to say the least the lack of structure under the the pads that come in contact with the actual toilet caused the seat to crack and a chunk of plastic to break out. I was hoping that this seat would be a good choice for a disabled family member. I cant recommend this seat to anyone, poor design and weak water pressure. In my other bathroom I have a Kohler bidet seat that is a few years older and the only thing replaced on it are batteries, it has great pressure and works amazing.
I cannot get this thing to work consistently. It’s really more trouble than it’s worth. I just give up and use the old fashion way. The buttons rarely work, I’ve changed the batteries it still doesn’t want to work. I give up! Throwing it out the window
I ordered 2 of these based on a referral from a coworker and I got the first one installed and the remote doesn’t function reliably or smoothly. The seat heater keeps turning on without input. The remote activation rarely works consistently. I had to unplug it to get the seat heater to shut off. I have to reach out to support for further assistance, but it was definitely not plug and play.
I do like this bidet, it works great. However, there are a couple of issues I have with it. 1: The included remote control is large and bulky. 2: You have to point the end of the remote at the sensor on the seat for it to work. I wish I could just press the functions on the remote that I mounted on the wall and it would work from there. 3. I have an elongated toilet. The bidet takes up a moderate amount of space, resulting in a usable opening the size of a round toilet bowl.
My 6 year old 1 is way better than this junk. It starts with ice cold water even when on highest temp. This is just real cheap and not that great. I wish I could buy my 6 year old 1 brand new again.
