Govee! I’ve maker

Got this two days ago love it makes ice fast. The water tanks are big and hold a lot of water the lighting from. Govee is always amazing. Very simple to set up an easy to use. Highly recommend. used other ice machines that always broke civil slow to make ice.

This icemaker is fantastic! Great materials, larger water reservoir, clean and perfect size ice, and an extremely attractive design. It looks and feels like its well made. I cleaned it and put it together in about 15 minutes. Its very quiet and you can set a “do not disturb” schedule so it is off when you dont want a peep!

Ice Maker Pro is WAY Better Than Opal
I’ve owned a GE Opal before, and honestly, the Ice Maker Pro is on a whole different level. It makes ice faster, produces more ice per day, and has been far more reliable. With the Opal, I constantly worried about cleaning, mold in the lines, and parts failing. This machine is much simpler to maintain and just works.
The nugget ice is excellent—perfect for drinks, soda, and chewing—and the machine keeps up even when we’re using a lot of ice. It’s also quieter than my Opal was after a year of use.
For the price, performance, and reliability, this is a much better value. If you want great nugget ice without the headaches, this is the one to buy.
Highly recommend!

Works better than our old Opal. Much quieter as well. I think the Govee’s cleaning and descaling cycles are also much better than the GE. Our Opal died and was full of pink mold. The Govee seems to be a better machine so far.

I love how quiet the unit is and also how it lights up. The only change I would love to see incorporated is after the ice is made it didn’t freeze into a clump (the other one I had different brand didn’t do this); otherwise I’m very impressed.

First Ice Maker purchase

Finally took the plunge on a "real" ice maker and Govee was the reason
I've never owned a countertop ice maker before, but I kept watching people in forums and reviews cycling through GE-branded machines every 3–5 years like clockwork.
What finally got me over the line was the brand. I have over 50 Govee devices in my home - lights, a dehumidifier, and a handful of other things and not a single one has let me down. When I saw Govee was making an ice machine, I figured if anyone was going to do this right, it was them.
Here's what sold me beyond just the name:
Durability: A 3-year warranty right out of the box tells you something about how confident they are in the build. Coming from a world where cheaper machines apparently give up the ghost in a few years, that matters.
Self-cleaning: One of the biggest complaints I kept reading about with other machines was how disgusting they'd get in hard-to-reach spots, even with the lid closed. The auto-clean and descaling features feel like a real quality-of-life upgrade. We will see how well these work over time.
Water capacity and notifications: Nearly 2 gallons of storage and low-water alerts mean I'm not hunting down the reason there's no ice at the worst possible moment.
Noise: This one has a steady hum when making ice but I'm not sleeping in my kitchen and its silent when in standby mode.
The smart features are a bonus. Scheduling ice production to star an hour before I wake up to ensure I have full bucket for water or iced coffee is very nice.
The box this thing arrives in is pretty big and its a big machine. And the price at full retail is steep. I was able to snag one at a discounted price when Amazon was doing a Limited Time Deal so timing a sale or bundle deal makes it much easier to swallow.
Setup was easy. Excited to finally have nugget ice on demand.
My only Cons are the size being a bit large but I can deal with it and the machine only coming in black, I would have much preferred Stainless Steel options or even white.
