This is a great upgrade from my GTS 2 Mini. Great display, it’s fast, sensors are accurate, still a few small bugs which I hope will be fixed. Battery lasts 7 days with pretty much every option turned on except always-on-display. I got the Premium version. Glass already got banged around and has absolutely no damage. I don’t love the leather band and I’m sure it would have been a better choice to include a black or at least neutral silicone band. Orange is not something I’m going to wear. Overall, I highly recommend it.
My wife loves her watch because it’s not as large as my Amazfit Balance and has a bright display that now includes Pickle Ball as a sport workout. She is upset that it doesn’t offer a nylon band like the Balance does.
The Amazfit Active 2 Premium is a stylish, budget-friendly smartwatch with a bright AMOLED display, and solid fitness tracking. Battery life lasts around 10 days, but the software can be buggy for some features. The sleep measurement is not as accurate, It’s great for fitness enthusiasts but needs some improvements. Good value overall!
Tennis: wearing it on the swinging wrist tracks the number of forehand, backhand and serve so that’s cool!
Swimming: doesn’t track my wife’s breaststroke but tracks mine ok. I wonder if her strokes are slower than the recognizable standard so it doesn’t count her laps.
Battery: compared to the Active I’m surprised at how much faster it drains, but still glad I don’t have to charge it everyday.
Replying: paired with my iPhone 14 Pro it doesn’t by default allow reply to IMs, but set it up with beeper via matrix allows me to reply to my wife’s Messenger texts and also WhatsApp, good enough for me.
