a disaster of a purchase, but 100% my fault

this is just a toy for my 6 and 8 year old kids now. doesn't work at all for the adults in the house, and is actually impossible to adjust to an adult sized head with any sort of real comfort.

Initially, I was thrilled when I first tried these Smart Goggles, as someone who has difficulty falling asleep. The product promised a lot, and I had high hopes. However, my excitement quickly faded as I continued to use them. Over time, the headband became louder, almost like a blown speaker, and I found it increasingly bothersome as it either rubbed my ears or felt too tight or loose.
Additionally, the mask did not fit well, and failed to block out light. Making matters worse, adjusting it triggered the biometric sensor, which blasted a red laser at my eye. To make matters worse, this device requires sound to work effectively. While there is an integration with Therabody's new "Theramind" app, the app is highly buggy and crashes frequently. The content is also underwhelming. Instead, I find myself turning to other apps like Calm and Pzizz for better audio quality, but I have to use my own headphones, which struggle to fit around the clunky device.
While I appreciate Therabody's mission and values, given the price and the issues I've encountered, I would recommend waiting for a future version and opting for a cheaper alternative on Amazon in the meantime.
