Gimped from the factory

I just wanted a pair of headphones that would fit my niece's head so we could listen to music together. Some JBuddies headphones of this style/branding ("JBuddies Folding Kids Headphones") are apparently adjustable. The manual PDF you can find on ththis very product page explains that rotating the right ear dial counter-clockwise allows you to make the headphones louder and rotating it clockwise makes them quieter. Many negative reviews for these headphones complain that the headphones are too quiet. The current version of these headphones is NOT adjustable and as you can see from my submitted photo, the reason they are way too quiet is because they are rolled out from the factory permanently set to almost their minimum volume (assuming the circuitry inside still functions like the adjustable version.) That pink piece of plastic should be able to rotate through that guided area to adjust the volume, but it has been filled in with solid plastic now and frozen in place. Perhaps dremmelling out that plastic channel will let me get some use of these headphones. Thanks for wasting my time AND my money, JLabs.

My youngest of 4 kids kept stealing her sister's ear buds even though they didn't fit in her ear. I went to the store to grab her a really basic pair of headphones, something that we didn't mind her breaking or losing. I never knew they made kid specific headphones and as soon as I saw the Jbuddies I knew they were perfect for her. As soon as she put them on she was in love. They fit her head great with room to grow. The volume regulator keeps me from worrying about her hurting her ears. Will definitely be purchasing more JLab products in the future.

Lifesaver!

I bought these for my 2 year old son because he loves watching YouTube for kids. It was starting to drive me crazy having to listen to his wonderful, crazy videos about colors, shapes and many other things that a two-year-old would love. The headphones fit his little head very well since they are adjustable and he loves them. I highly recommend them! I had concerns that maybe they would be too loud and would hurt his ears but there has been no problems with the volume. Like I said purchasing these headphones has been a lifesaver when it comes to my sanity!

This is the second pair my daughter this school year to use with her chromebook. We just received a replacement, since other pair stop working. In less then a 2 week this pair was sent back home from school. They are not working. I am not sure what is going on with product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought these in pink for my 2yo. She was so excited about picking the design and I’m so excited that she can play her games with sound but I can’t hear it! She’s pretty small for her age anyway and they fit really well. I tried them out myself and they really can’t be turned up too loud which is great for a 2yo with no impulse control. We can’t wait to use them on our vacation that’s gonna include 2 10+ hour drives! If you’re unsure about whether your toddler really needs headphones, they do! Just buy them. You won’t regret it!

I bought these for my 5 year old. I was a little unsure about how she would like them, but she loved them. What I, as a mother, like best is that there is a volume control and how they fold up and store away nicely! I got these for the car when we take trips and They work great!
