STAY WARM EATING OUTSIDE DURING THE PANDEMIC!

Our Fire Sense outdoor heater had made eating with small groups outside while still staying socially distant a possibility during the current Pandemic. It has worked so well that we purchased a 2nd one to get us through the southern California winter!

Attractive, slim, works great

This is the third of these heaters we purchased. During Covid, the only way that we could entertain was outdoors. So, these heaters have been a godsend. We did need three of them to comfortably heat and 8 foot table. So understand, one heater alone is probably not enough.

IR Heater that Met My Needs

I would've given 5-stars however, there was damage to the internal packing causing cosmetic damage to the pole. Also, it's advertised as odorless; however, there is a moderate odor emitted after powering it on. It's been a few days of use and the smell is still there. Could be just a break-in period, but very noticeable oil/paint/burn scent when using indoors or in a screened patio. Assembly was easy and performed by one person. I performed Step 4 after Step 7 (figure 8) to allow more slack with the electrical cord because the cord bunched when connecting the support tube. Very sturdy base and would imagine it would take a very strong wind to knock it down. When adjusting the height of the telescoping pole, the electric cord would snag unless I fed or positioned the cord with my feet.

Keeps me outside all PANDEMIC!

I wanted to create a warm patio at my home in California in order to be able to stay outside and safe during COVID-19. This heater allows me to have family over anytime (except if it rains) and they can be safely distant and WARM! This year this heater allows me to have Thanksgiving outside! I’m delighted with the warmth and the ease of movement that this heater provides. Also, the telescoping neck was an important feature for me. The unit also comes with a cover for the heating element. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a quality item, in my view. It has a very bright orange glow (only downside, but not taking any points off as i'm not sure that's avoidable) so it can hinder atmosphere, but the warmth is outstanding. Good portability, not too heavy but it's sturdy.
