[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have already used this monitor extensively in hotel rooms. It is perfect for having more productivity when you are on the road, and doesn't have the bulk of a regular monitor. I particularly like that it can power itself off of my laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the portable monitor (M14d) for use in motel rooms during travel. I was a little skeptical about powering the monitor at first because all I had was the Lenovo laptop power brick. So, after reading the [downloaded] user guide (which wasn't really helpful), I decided to just connect the power brick to the M14d then connect the USB C cable provided from the M14d to the laptop USB C power port. It worked (!) and following connection ran the driver installation and checked for Win11 updates to complete the installation. The M14d has a really crisp and clear display so I enjoyed using it. Highly recommended.

Trying Everything - Doesn't Get Out of Standby Mod

As the title says - plug in to any of our 4 laptops at home (2 that are Lenovo) and the monitor will turn on briefly, then go straight to standby mode and off. They have no trouble with another portable monitor that we have - plug and play. But this M14d - hasn't worked. Bought a new cable at the request of another person suggesting it may work and that didn't change. No computer, even during reboot, recognizes the monitor to be able to install the drivers. Probably going to need to return it. This is a terrible product when you're expecting lightweight plug and play, and it doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
