This item is bigger than i thought it be but its truly a great sounding speaker..Capable of loud clean reproduction with deep full bass....At the discounted price i paid it was simply a no brainer purchase!

Going from the Onyx Studio 4 to the 8 was much needed. The first one lasted me years, so it's safe to assume the longesvity and durability is the same. Whole lot of bass with the best clarity-- just how I like it. I'm also obsessed with the design too. Couldn't ask for a better speaker.
I also recommended the speaker to my best friend because she loved my Studio 4. She bought the 8 the following day after I got ordered mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased as a xmas gift after my daughter heard AND saw my Onyx Studio I purchased for myself. Beautiful and sounds great. I'm a pro musician so have an ear for quality! Well done!

I bought two of these speakers. One fills the room but two takes it to an amazing listening experience. Every genre of music sounds amazing.

I gave my Son the old one and got this new one. The bass is louder and easy to carry around. Much better than any other brands. Recommended.

I'm used to speakers with a lot of bass, but with the Studio 8, I can hear bass along with clarity in the vocals. What I have noticed is if you turn the volume down to about 75%, it's the sweet spot. Definitely charge it to full because if not, the speaker will shut off periodically. The only downside is the battery life is trash so if you're going to play for an extended period, carry the charging cable

I have long been a fan of Harman Kardon and their Onyx Studio line. So much so, that I bought three within the past five years. What I like about the Studio 8 is the change in the charging plug - which makes it much easier to charge. That and the conference call feature - which was previously on the Harman Kardon Esquire. Overall, it's a wonderful speaker from this brand.

It was outstanding. I went back to try to get 2 more but the price had reverted to the original price. I had to search everywhere to see where I could get it for less, I actually did and I'm now a proud owner of 2 outstanding speakers.
