It turns on randomly and turns up the volume on its own! I spent an entire hour repeatedly turning it down then finally unplugged it completely because it did it’s own thing and was making me mad cuz I could not hear my tv every time it randomly turned itself on. If you don’t mind the occasional heart attacks and it’s random acts this is the perfect sound machine for you!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This little machine works perfect, we own a duplex and our tenant gets up for work at 6am. Although she tries to be quiet there is some floor noise. We used to turn on a fan every night but during the winter the accompanying breeze is not always welcome. We set the Lectro Fan to the sound of our fan and we sleep soundly until we want to get up. On weekends when she doesn’t get up early we listen to ocean waves all night. We love this little gadget!

Sound is great, but doesn’t absorb sound.

My husband and I use a fan to sleep and it’s on the frits, and seeing the reviews, figured we would give this a try and thought if it work, would be amazing for travel since it’s so light and portable. I’m a light sleeper and found a sound identical to our fans. Unfortunately, it doesn’t absorb sound or “block” it out. I could hear sounds in my house I never hear with the fan on. We ended up returning it and buying a new fan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product at a good price.
Faster than estimated delivery.
Several options, would have appreciated more "water" type noises such as light to heavy rainfalls but overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!
