The Watch8 Classic is a great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Watch 8 Classic for two main purposes (1) Hiking/Walking (2) Doing Yard work.
(1) Hiking/walking - I use my watch for playing Spotify Music with my ear buds while monitoring my progress for my hike/walk (lap time per mile/heart rate/Distance). The best part is that I don't have to weigh myself down with my cell phone. I leave the cell phone in the car while having the ability to receive calls and make calls with my Watch 8 Classic. At the end of my Hike/Walk I can link my activity with the Samsung Health Monitor and Google Fit with the cellular (LTE) capabilities.
(2) Doing Yard Work - mainly I use my Watch 8 Classic to listen to music with my ear buds while at the same time have the ability to get calls and messages without having to drag my cell phone around.

Disappointed that many of the health tools only work with Samsung phone. If I had known, I would have bought a Google watch.

Other health features like heart rate, body composition, and sleep tracking work on any Android phone. Samsung has FDA approval for ECG and blood pressure readings when using our own phones which ensures data consistency and security in the ecosystem. Accidentally went diving with my original Galaxy Watch. Missed the integration with my phone. This model has several upgrades and features. Updated health apps, compass and others. Seems the battery doesn't last as long. This is probably because so many things it's doing in the background. I like being able to ignore SPAM without looking at my phone.
