I am very pleased with this machine. It makes a much more consistent cup of coffee than I was doing with a manual pour over, and! I connected it to a smart plug so I can prepare the coffee maker the night before and have it come on in the morning so my coffee is ready when I get to the kitchen to make breakfast

I’m a coffee nut: I like it strong and very hot. This maker runs the water thru a bit slowly to truly heat the water and bring out the body of the coffee with a slower drip. The burner is hot; the coffee stays hot for that 2nd and 3rd cup. No bitter microwave reheating. We have a small kitchen, and like its compact size and sleek look. This is our second one; first lasted more than 10 years. Same perfect performance after 6 weeks of daily use.

Pros: Fast brew and nice and hot. Cons: the cup size is not what most people use in a mug; the carafe seems to almost slide on the plate so I can see it could be easy to knock and lastly, its annoying to have to hold the lid down to pour the coffee and to get the last amount out of the carafe you have to practically hold it upside down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This one button, no brain needed for use is perfect for folks like me who are useless before they have their coffee. This machine allows for easy water filling, only a few component parts and super easy to clean. After I broke the carafe by hitting it against the counter accidently, I decided to cheap out and not spend the money to replace it. I used a Mr. Coffee machine i had as a backup for a few months. Hard to work and lousy tasting coffee. Someone gave me a Cuisinart machine- I tried using it for a few weeks, but it was so complicated I would have needed to take an engineering course to work it. I just repurchased my original Zutto and all is good in the world again for me.

I bought a relatively cheap coffee maker in 2020, and then the switch broke, so I had to find a new one. I'm really glad that I chose the Zutto! It brews really quickly, and something about it brings out different flavors in my coffee (in a good way). I also really like being able to remove the water container and fill it or clean it directly. I recommend the Zutto!
