"Size on disc" fail

The "size on Disc" differs greatly from the actual amount of data placed on the disc. I was hoping to transfer all of the data on my 12 TB disc onto it, but I ran out of space before the transfer was complete. Consequently I was required to buy another passport to offload some of the data from my 12 TB drive, as it was already in the red.

Hello, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please be informed that systems will use both decimal and binary to measure the size. A drive's size is measured by using the total number of bytes that can be used on the drive.
