Hooked on ZeroWater

We've been using ZeroWater filters for at least 7 years because the water tastes SO good that bottled water cannot even compare. I've gotten so sensitive to the taste that I know when the filter needs to be replaced without having to use the TDS meter. Definitely cannot imagine going without it.

Filter stops filtering - need to clear air pockets

The filters always seem to stop filtering. Almost every filter requires us to either lift and squeeze the air pockets out or need to tap on the top of the screen. I don't recall this happening so frequently in the past.

We certainly apologize for the continued frustrations with the filters, generally if you put an inch of water in the reservoir and then grip the middle section of the filter with both hands and firmly squeeze the filter in a pumping action until you are completely certain that there is no more air coming out of the top of the filter this will solve the issue for the life of that filter. If you do not clear all of air from the filter this issue will continue to compound itself over and over. Also never fill the reservoir directly from the faucet or spigot from your sink as this is naturally aerated and will force air down inside the filter. It is best to fill the reservoir with a large glass or measuring cup and pour into the corner of the reservoir away from the center of the filter. If there is ever a filter that simply just will not fix itself when the aforementioned trouble shooting steps have been followed we are more than happy to replace that filter. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Look our city has put something in our water that really clogged up the filter. Yet it still worked. I wish I could get a whole house filter like zero water.

Love the taste. Don't love having to squeeze the filter more often than expected. A little pricey, but worth it.

Love the product. Had an issue with one from my previous order. It took a long time to filter water. Other than that, filters are excellent.

The filters last as long as advertised, but that's not a very long time when you're filtering water for a family of 4.
Just had one with an air bubble, Golly that was annoying, tried the solution on the website but it didn't really work. It will be done in a few days though.
These are the only pitcher type filters I found that are certified by NSF to remove PFAS. Based on that alone, I have to recommended this product for people's safety.
Have had for 5 months.

Thank you for contacting ZeroWater. From time to time the filter can develop an air lock, some little air pockets or air bubbles that get trapped down inside the filter. Typically this is an easy and quick fix, simply remove the filter from the container and unscrew it from the tray. Then hold the filter sideways/horizontal and grip the filter very tightly and shake the filter with some good force side to side and back and forth 8 to 10 times. This will loosen the filter media and break the air lock.

Good Reasons for Purchasing the ZW Filtration Sys.

Think. YOU are investing in a filtered water system to protect yourself or your family. Having a supply of new filters guarantees that you will continue to have filtered drinking water continuously. Purchasing the 16 pack is more economical by lowering the price of each filter and also reduces shipping and packaging waste from the environment. I have used the zero water filters for multiple years and do not regret the cost verses very good tasting and safe drinking and cooking water.
