I have been an Otter box customer since the Note 5, however the design of this case is flawed! The plastic layer on the button side of the phone does not go high enough, causing a noticeable gap between the rubber portion of the case and phone after only one day of use. This leads to missed presses on the volume and power buttons. You end up pushing the wrong ones at least once every 5 times! See pic. Otter box, you need to fix this now!

Noticeable quality change vs note 10 + commuter.

Just put this on my phone and the quality difference is easily noticeable. Thinner more plyable plastic and less protection than my note 10 commuter. So otterbox, did you start manufacturing to lesser specs?

We really only ever make design or material changes if we feel confident they'll enhance the overall protective nature of a case, its performance in terms of the interaction with the device held within, or both.
With something like this Commuter Series for the Note20 Ultra, our aim was to find the best balance between those things while doing so with a relatively streamlined profile. We're sorry to hear that your impression is that it's gone a bit too far and potentially diminished the security Otter is so well known for.
Our internal testing team has put the design through the wringer, so to speak, so we don't have any overreaching concerns, but we will certainly share your thoughts with our design team for their reference going forward.

I've always buy Otterbox cases for my phones i bought this case about 3 weeks used it for a bit it looks nice but wasn't to satisfied it's not a snug fit and is easy to come off if dropped. Some what dissatisfied with this case.

First time otterbox product has disappointed me

Have always used a otterbox case for my cellphones. Was glad to see they had one for the new note 20 ultra. Case came and seemed very cheaply made. Did not have that feel of protection that all the other cases have had. Phone would pop out of case easily as well. Instantly returned.

Plastic is flimsy, after 2 weeks it is not holding the phone tight. Pops put of case when I remove it from my pocket. Side covering the volume controls is loose and doesn't sit well against volume controls

This is a cute protective case, but not impressed. The rubber casing within the hard shell is prone to getting dirty, especially since it's a light color. In my second day of owning the case it looked very dirty because I put it in my jeans back pocket and stained the rubber part dark blue, it was very disappointing. However, I was able to clean it up with nail polish remover. The rubber casing is also sort of loose by the volume/on/off buttons, which makes it feel less protected. I think the Symmetry Cases from Otterbox are the best for this phone.
