This is a pretty good computer so far, except for its speakers.

I am enjoying this computer quite a bit after not having bought a new one for 10 years. Windows 11 is of course awful, but that isn't HP's fault. I am using this device as a home computer and although its description clearly stated it was more optimized for business, its hardware specifications and sale price met my requirements. I haven't had any problems with it yet (knock on wood). But because it was optimized for business, I wonder if my one dislike about it is due to that optimization: the speakers seem to be weak on the unit, being very faint and tinny. Watching Youtube videos for instance is somewhat less enjoyable because of this. Perhaps I have a setting wrong, or maybe I'm supposed to only use headphones for sound. I don't know if this is common for business computers, is limited to this model, or is a quirk of just my unit. I wish there was something that could be done to improve the sound quality. Other than that, I like it. I hope it lasts at least as long as my previous computer.
This laptop (HP Probook 460 16") works quite well. It's fast and hasn't had any issues thus far. The touchscreen is nice, though I find I don't use it as much as I could, being accustomed to mouse input. I do wish it had a couple more usb ports, and the charging brick gets pretty hot while charging, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. But other than that a great computer. I'm very happy with it.
unit is responsive, keyboard is laid out well. . .input controls are responsive, and is powerful enough to handle all my needs. As compared to a competitor, this is heads and shoulders over the competition
