I bought 2 because I’m a big canner. I’ve used a weighted gage canner for over 50 years and this new electric pressure canner seems foolproof. I’ve used the pressure canning method for tomatoes and the boiling water bath method for relish both methods worked like a charm.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this yesterday and canned green beans. It was so easy and very happy with purchase. Looking forward to canning so much more. Easy to use, read the manual and followed directions. Loved that I did not have to babysit it and monitor like you do on the stove top.

Love my electric 23qt pressure canner - stoked!

Awesome machine, works perfectly. Glad I went with the 23qt electric version option, was able to can tuna outside easily, the guide walks you through it instantly, was my first time and after 1 batch I already thought I was a pro thanks to the support documents, also the youtube video helped me visually walk through it while I was waiting for it to be shipped to me. Made a batch of 47 half of a half pint jars (the super small 4oz ones), all of them came out perfect. Very important to have new tops/lids every time for 100% success.

This is a massive piece of equipment, but it did not disappoint. The screen prompts you through all of the steps to pressure canning, and keeps your kitchen cooler than using the stove. I could not believe how much this streamlined my process!
It sat in our kitchen table for over a week, and knowing how easy it was to get food prepped an in the canner? It encouraged me to do one more batch…and pretty soon our pantry was fuller than it has been in years! The folks at our local farm stand saw me every few days taking advantage of the inexpensive and super fresh produce that we will enjoy all winter long.
It’s a large piece of equipment, so storing it is going to take some rearranging, but that is an easy challenge to accept. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally took my 23 qt canner out of box did the water test then canned up some tomato juice.
Upon taking it out of the box I was impressed with how light this canner is!!! As I get older the weight of my other canners was going to be an issue especially the 17qt (I have 2-12qt and 1- 17qt)
This canner has the same digital display and works the same as 12 and 17 qt as far as the digital display.
I used wb function. I wanted qts and pints so I got out a 12qt and canned qts and pints at same time.
I didn't test to see which one was quicker as that is irrelevant to me. One thing I did want to see is how much steam would be released into the kitchen and by far the 23 qt puts out a lot more steam. It doesn't play a factor for me as I have space next to the sink and if I turn then no steam hits cupboards. Wanted to mention in case that is a factor for some. I absolutely 💯 love the sealing ring in this canner, had zero issue with it and it stayed in place. The cord is no longer removable taking away the human error of plughing it in to canner all the way. Cord is also a lot longer compared to the 12qt/17qt.
Having 3 sizes of the presto digital canner now.....I would hands down tell anyone to invest in the 23qt as it can pc and wb all size jars and is so light weight.
The only thing I would say that are a down fall but really in the big picture they aren't lol is cord place ment and the plug on top that has to be removed when waterbathing to let steam out. Cord is directly in back so when I grab handles to dump water in the sink the cord hit counter, I wish it was to the side so it didn't get in way when dumping. Also, now have to factor in human error when removing the plug. Also wish it came with a few of these pluds as I am sure I'm gonna misplace it lol time to place a parts order 😄
I have been using the presto digital canner since they first came out, Santa got me my first one year they came on market. I will never go back to a stovetop pressure canner or water bath canner!!!
There is still some watching this canner as u have to advance cycle forward and get it to the next step but nothing compared to watching heat and adjusting it for a dial guage/jiggler!!!
