Not crazy about this webcam, it was cheap so I guess its alright
- mic is always on... I physically disconnect it when its not in use
- image is grainy in low light
- very wide image, could be a pro for some?

I had planned on returning it but decided it will do for what I paid and now that I disconnect it. It wont blow you away but it was also pretty cheap
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful and practical webcam that will fulfill anyone's basic needs, this product offers a quite proper microphone and includes what I consider a necessary feature, the lid covering the camera. I believe the image quality to be subpar compared to many of the higher tier webcams, but that is to be expected from such a low priced product I suppose. Video looks grainy and colors are faded, but otherwise does a very good job at providing me with a good experience and the privacy I desire from a webcam. :)
On a side note, the webcam looks much more silver in person than it does on the website, where it's almost completely white.
I would recommend this to a friend!
