Screen broke after less than 5 foot drop

I just got this phone and it fell off the table. I’m guessing the drop was about 4 feet high. It looks like it landed on the corner first though so that probably didn’t help but still it’s less than half the rated drop height.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
