Third time is a charm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the S55TR because it said it was wireless soundbar and woofer was wireless rear speakers are not wireless so I returned it . So I bought the S70TY it’s wireless but I didn’t like the sound and it doesn’t come with rear speakers you would have to purchase them. So I returned it. Which brings me to S80 TR this unit is totally wireless. It fits my price range and loving it. I’m definitely going to mount the soundbar to wall. Definitely would recommend

Wish I had bought any other brand

Worst choice I've made in my entertainment purchases was this soundbar.
It constantly cuts out at random, requires being turned off and back on to get it to work again, even as the show you're watching is still playing.
Sometimes it acts as though a specific moment in a video or show is a cutoff point; the sound shuts off, I pause the video, I reset the sound system, rewind the video, and it just shuts off again at the same point. The only work around when this happens is to rewind the video and time it so when I turn the sound system back on the audio picks up where it normally cuts out, and that takes some practice.
Most of the time the surround speakers turn on, but there's a latency to them that can be a few seconds or it can take as much as half an hour to correct itself.

Bass is really lacking on mine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought an LG G3 and the S80TR soundbar. The TV is amazing but I feel like the s80tr is really lacking in the bass area. I've tried messing with settings but It almost seems like the subwoofer isn't working. When I do the AI calibration the subwoofer sounds great but that's the only time it sounds good. I've tried watching a few movies on hbo max, disney+ and a few other services and it just feels like there's no bass. Am I missing something with the subwoofer? I made sure the green light on the back is solid and even have the sound setting on bass blast. Any help would be great.

Since the subwoofer sounds great during AI calibration but not during regular use, it may be a settings issue or a connection concern. Please ensure that the subwoofer level is appropriately set in the soundbar's audio settings, and try adjusting its placement in the room, as this can impact its performance. Also, check all cables to ensure they are securely connected and there are no loose connections between the soundbar and subwoofer.

I was having a hard time finding a full featured sound bar with at least 5.1.X where the soundbar wasn't over 40 inches. This new addition to the 2024 Lineup was the perfect fit and sounds amazing!!!!!! The features and integration into LG OLED TVs is fantastic and so easy to setup and calibrate for your room.

For this price range this 5.1.3 soundbar is awesome. It has two sound modes in a soundbar that does not break the bank. I love the DTS:X and DOLBY ATMOS. The WOW CAST and WOW ORCHESTRA amazing. The AI Pro room calibration is neat. The bass is just right for me in 10x10 to 15x15 room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A sound bar needs to be easy to use and set up. This one really is. I used the ARC connection to the TV, plugged in the speakers and sub. Turned it on, and it just works. Easy soundbar app as well. So, there is no separate receiver or speaker wires for the real. Huge upgrade from my older soundbar. The sound options are great. It really paired perfectly with my LG OLED. Dolby Atmos, WOW sound, and DTS:X all are great, and the wow is a cool way to listen to music! With 580W the sound can fill the room! I am not sure what 3D Spatial Sound is, but I like it. AI room calibration using the built-in microphone really made a difference. I strongly recommend this bar!

I have it set up in a bedroom that is used mostly for gaming and watching TV. I love that the rear speakers are wireless—no more tangled cables all over the place which is ideal for this space! The sound quality is amazing. With Dolby Atmos®, it feels like the sound is coming from all around me, which is perfect for not only movies but gaming as well. The bass is deep, the highs are clear, and the whole system delivers a rich, immersive audio experience. What I really appreciate is how the soundbar adapts to whatever I'm watching. Whether it's a movie, video game, or just some music, it automatically adjusts to give me the best sound. The remote is easy to use, and switching between different sound modes is super simple. It also pairs perfectly with my LG TV! Plus, it’s got all the connectivity options I need—Bluetooth, HDMI, and optical input—so it works great with all my devices. Overall, the LG Soundbar S80TR is a fantastic addition to my setup. It’s easy to use, sounds incredible, and looks sleek. I am very impressed with this soundbar. If you're looking to take your TV sound to the next level without investing into a whole entertainment system, I highly recommend this soundbar!
