Amazing Sound Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cant describe how much I love LG's S80TR Soundbar. The sound quality is phenomenal while watching out favorite reality singing shows. It gives all around sound with its two rear speakers and plenty of bass with the subwoofer. You will feel like you are in the actual audience. This sound system is well worth the price for the quality and experience you will embark on.

Amazing sound system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had S80TR for a few weeks now, and I can say it is a great addition to my home setup. When I first got the box, I was really surprised how heavy it was; each of the speaker, soundbar and the subwoofer were sturdy and well-made. The setup and installation was fairly easy, and I also liked the fact that the rear speakers were wireless.
The sound is superb! I never realized how much I was missing until I heard the difference. Watching movies feels like I'm in a theater with sounds coming from all around, thanks to the Dolby Atmos. It provides an impressive number of sound profiles to cater to your specific content and the AI room calibration makes sure you're getting the correct balance of everything for how you have the system positioned based on your room.
All in all, I’m super happy with this soundbar system. It sounds great, looks good, and is easy to use and setup. Totally recommend if you want to improve your home audio game!

First off, the sound quality is incredible. The S80TR really brings movies, music, and even regular TV shows to life. The clarity is amazing, with crisp highs and deep, punchy bass. It’s got that Dolby Atmos support, which means you’re getting that immersive, surround-sound experience without needing a bunch of extra speakers cluttering up your living room. I was skeptical at first, but it genuinely feels like the sound is coming from all around you.
Setting it up was a breeze. I’m fairly tech-savvy, and I had this thing out of the box and connected to my TV in under 15 minutes. The wireless subwoofer paired instantly, and there were no complicated steps. Just plug and play, which I appreciate.
One of my favorite features is the AI Sound Pro. It automatically adjusts the sound settings based on what you’re watching, which is a nice touch. Whether it’s an action-packed movie, a sports game, or just the news, it optimizes the sound to give you the best experience possible. Plus, you can control everything with the LG Soundbar app on your phone, which is super convenient.

Makes a difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying the sound coming out of the LG Soundbar S80TR. I know you might have heard that a soundbar makes a difference when watching movies and listening to music, well I had one, now add to that experience a subwoofer and wireless speakers... game changer! Just be aware that the power connection cables that come with wireless speakers are not very long, so you have to be able to place them near an outlet or consider an extension cord of sorts. The subwoofer can be dialed down along with alot of settings in the app. I like that since I live in an apartment. The subwoofer is big but on the slimmer side so it isn't as noticeable. The setup was relatively easy and quick, I have had a few connection issues when starting it up, like the movie would pause by itself, but it has yet to happen again after those first few days.

Best upgrade you can do for your tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased the LG S80TR soundbar to replace an aging soundbar in my spare TV room. Unboxing was very easy, everything was well packed, easy to remove and locate all the parts and accessories. Connection to the TV was easy and straightforward. Plugged it into my HDMI-eARC port on the TV, connected power following the order in the instructions and everything was up and running right away. I put on a movie, listened to it for about 30 seconds and realized this system sounded too good to be in the spare TV room. I unplugged everything, carried it into the movie room, unhooked the old system and hooked this system up. Connection for this system consists of a power plug for each rear speaker, a power plug for the sub and the soundbar and an HDMI cable to the TV eARC port. I did the room adjustment and turned on the AI enhancement, started watching some of my favorite Dolby Atmos movies and was really impressed with the sound I get from this system. I have a large room and cannot place both rear speakers an equal distance from where I sit, but the room balancing does a great job adjusting the sound so that even though the left rear is about twice as far from me as the right rear, it still sounds like everything was in the perfect position. The AI sound profile has been working great as well. Whether I'm playing a game, watching a movie, TV or Sports show, the sound has been impressive every time. I have other soundbars I have spent twice as much on that do not sound as good as this one. For the price and for the product you get, I have no problems recommending this soundbar.

Perfect for any room/activity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to get the LG Soundbar S80TR and it was a game changer for the living room and for homeschooling! We have our tv mounted on a rolling tv rack so that we can move it around as needed. Now, with wireless rear speakers I can now move our tv so we can use it for homeschool course, educational movies etc. and actually be able to clearly hear everything! Before it was just the stutter and quietness of the tv or the sheer bizarre amount of wires.
The AI collaboration is a godsend because no matter what room we are in, it automatically adjusts to it. It ensures the best sound, the best quality regardless of the dimensions/size of the room. Definitely made for a fun rainy day activity of karaoke!! Kids felt like they were in a club rather than at home! We could literally just pick up the wireless speakers and have a day outside if we wanted to. We tried it on the front porch, just to test the speakers honestly. It was clear, concise and proved how versatile they were. Granted they aren’t outdoor speakers but it proved the AI quality for us.
The LG Soundbar S80TR is sturdy and definitely well made ‘most definitely a great purchase for any living room or home theatre. It would make SUPERB and easy upgrade!

Great All Around Soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all around soundbar. First off, subwoofer is massive. They have to be if you want to feel bass, that's just simple physics. The main soundbar is nicely designed. Clear dialogue and separation of left and right channels. Up-firing Atmos speakers are a great addition. eArc works great with my setup, instantly recognizes Atmos. The satellite speakers synced immediately, along with the subwoofer. I'm glad they went with powering them separately vs. having a single hub with speaker wires for each satellite. However, I didn't think about how I would hide the larger power wires. I suppose you could run them through/behind speaker stands, which I'll probably end up doing. I think overall this is a great quality soundbar option.
