It's too hard for me and my husband. My shoulder hurts after lying on my side. We put a topper on it, and that helps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too soft, hard to move around on

From Consumer Report's rating of a "7" in firmness, and other reviews actually complaining about how firm it was, I expected this mattress bed to be, well, really firm! It's not at all. You sink into it immediately but the support does feel okay, mostly if you lie on your back, though. The real problem for me is moving around; it's a tremendous effort! So I wake up a lot trying to shift position. I have a shoulder injury and have to be careful not to stress it just trying to turn onto my side. And the foam does feel very warm at times, which won't be fun in the summer. It bothered me right away and my husband finally had a night when he said he'd felt warm, too. All in all, I don't love the mattress. It's better than the old one but after three weeks, I still have the same aches and pains and stiffness in the morning and I actually experience hip pain when I try to sleep on my side, which is my preferred positon. This was supposed to be one of the better foam mattresses for side sleeping. So maybe it works for young people; it's not doing anything wonderful for us in our 50's. Seems like nice quality and all but, I'm disappointed in how much we sink into it, which is why it's then so hard to turn over, even onto my side. I'm of average build and weight and I still have to really heave out of the pits. You also can't get too close to the edge or you feel like you'll slide off, something that a YouTube review said didn't happen. Well, it does.

Awesome Mattress!

I have a bad back and have trouble sleeping. It’s
hard to find a bed that has enough support and is also affordable. I have slept much better on my new Ghostbed than the expensive bed we had. Worth every penny!

Its been 3 weeks and so far my husband loves it. I am having a harder time with it. Definitely better than our old Sleep Number, but am very uncomfortable sleeping on my side. Before considering sending back we will think about getting the topper and trying that.

Bought one of these mattresses in 2016. Best decision ever. I immediately felt better and slept longer. Just recently bought one for my fiancées house in preparation for our marriage and living together. Can’t go wrong with this mattress.
