I'm a lifelong insomniac, can rarely sleep more than 3 or 4 hours after being up for more than 36 hours. This of course creates challenges for my wife who's career requires her to have more regular and very long hours. My irregular sleep pattern would often wake her up even though we had one of the most highly rated pillowtops. She also sleeps very hot, so the cool technology was a huge win for her. Since we started sleeping on our GhostBed it has literally been a blessing for us both. I sleep more soundly with less movement, and whether I am lying down or getting up, it doesn't effect her sleep because there is no transference of movement. So basically I would have to rate this at the spiritual peace level because it literally has brought peace...
While our Ghostbed is better than what we had, it does not leave me longing to stay in bed. I sleep well enough, but I feel like it could/should be so much more “comfortable” than what it is. We are keeping it but I don’t know whether we’d buy it again.
Mattress is much more firm than expected. Daughter could not sleep on it and will be returning it. They are sticklers about the 30day min before you can return it... 30 days of poor sleep? No thanks, you know within 1-2weeks if it’s not working
This is a solid mattress but understand that the top latex layer gives it a very different feel than most memory foam mattresses. Latex doesn't conform like memory foam and has a "bouncy" nature, but because of the underlying memory foam, the support is good and the motion isolation is good (much better than comparably priced traditional mattresses). I haven't slept on it in warm weather yet but suspect it will be fine. This mattress is also pretty firm (moreso than T&N and others that claim firmness ratings of 6 or 7), and I suspect the latex layer is partly responsible. It's also heavier (denser) foam than many similarly priced competitors so I expect it to last. I'm still in the evaluation period but will probably keep it.
